VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR FINALIST

Brendan McKenzie

MEET BRENDAN

Brendan McKenzie started eventing during his pony club years and then progressed to EV Eventing where he competed up to EvA95 before he changed to volunteering at several competitions and has now become a member of several eventing committees including Camperdown, Colac, and Friends Of Werribee, to help with course building and maintenance of courses. Brendan voluntarily gives many hours to helping prepare a course and dismantle fences under the guidance of Mick Pineo, Ewan Kellet and Sylvia Roberts. Even though Brendan lives in Forrest near Colac, he will travel far and wide to gain experience at his own cost.

Brendan is known for getting a job done. Even though Brendan is only in his 20s he shows great dedication to the sport of eventing.
