FINALIST PROFILE
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR FINALIST

Bronwyn Smith

MEET BRONWYN

Despite having no personal interest as an exhibitor, Bronwyn has volunteered for Show Horse for over 10 years. Bronwyn is always happy to do any job from ticket checker to marshal for both the National Show Horse Championships and Barastoc Horse of the Year.

She officiates from early morning into the night and in all weather conditions. Bronwyn is seen one of the unsung heroes in staging these events and is highly valued by the organisers. Bronwyn’s good humour and efficiency is wonderful and she always shows remarkable politeness to competitors. Those in the sport look forward to seeing her at each event and her “can do” attitude and sense of humour is highly valued by competitors and organisers alike.
