MEET SHAHIR

Shahir Ameen was groom for Para Equestrian Emma Booth and Mogelvangs Zidane at the Paralympics in Rio 2016, also at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon 2018, and currently campaigning with Team Booth towards the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games. She flew with the Para team horses to Rio.

Shahira is a knowledgeable horse woman who had also completed two animal science degrees, and is currently employed as a vet nurse. She has worked with equine vets and also small animal vets.

Shahira shows commitment, dedication, and knowledge. She adds fun and enjoyment to the team and Emma has said she wouldn’t be able to do any of it without her!
