HALL OF FAME – HELEN HEAGNEY

Helen possesses a wealth of competitive experience, which spans a lifetime of achievements. Her remarkable track record includes four triumphant victories in the prestigious Garryowen Trophies, as well as the commendable feat of nurturing three exceptional FEI horses. Helen proudly represented Australia in the esteemed Pacific League competitions, showcasing her exceptional skills at the Prix St. George level.

Recognised for her expertise, Helen holds the esteemed position of an A Level Dressage Judge and Judge Educator, having officiated numerous events throughout Australia. Her deep involvement in the equestrian community extends to educating judges, particularly in the realms of Young Horse judging and General Judging, with an impressive tenure as Chair of the Dressage Judges’ Education Panel in Victoria spanning 14 years.

The tremendous impact Helen has made in the Show Horse domain was acknowledged when she received the esteemed Volunteer of the Year – Show Horse award, a testament to her unwavering dedication and countless contributions. Moreover, Helen’s expertise extends beyond the competitive realm, as she possesses a thorough understanding of the racing industry and horse breeding, further enriching her extensive background.
