The Equestrian Australia coaching pathway offers a rewarding career, with opportunities to teach groups, at a riding school, individuals, and from your own property. When accredited, you have the opportunity to access comprehensive insurance, ongoing training and education opportunities.

The Equestrian Australia coaching pathway is a world-respected endeavour which includes components in equine management, riding, and coaching essentials to minimum standards of horse welfare and practice.
The programme is Internationally recognised. Once the coaching aspect is complete, you have the opportunity to apply for an Equestrian Passport from the International Group for Equestrian Qualifications (IGEQ). This means that your qualifications will be recognised and accepted in IGEQ member countries, making it easier to teach in other parts of the world (subject to national legal requirements).

BECOME A LEVEL ONE COACH
A Level One Coaching course is designed for riders and coaches wanting to improve their ability up to entry level competition in Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Show Horse, Carriage Driving and Vaulting.
BECOME A LEVEL TWO COACH
A Level Two course is designed for riders and coaches in high level competition in Olympic disciplines.
BECOME A LEVEL THREE COACH
A Level 3 Coach is the ultimate aspiration for coaches and is the highest qualification available.
BECOME AN EDUCATOR
BECOME AN SSTA
SSTAs are the first level of coaching educators and are endorsed to assess and teach the Introductory Riding and Horse Management Certificates.
BECOME A COACH EDUCATOR
Coach Educators are the top level of assessors and the coaching pathway. They are endorsed to assess introductory, level 1 and Level 2 Riding, Horse Management and Coaching Course workbooks.
FAST TRACKING OPPORTUNITIES
There are fast tracking opportunities available for riders who have competed to a certain level, or for applicants who have relevant alternate course experience.
