EQUESTRIAN VICTORIA

HALL OF FAME – JENNIFER PARLEVLIET

JUMPING | INDUCTED 2024

We are honoured to induct Jenny Parlevliet into the Equestrian Victoria Hall of Fame and celebrate her incredible achievements and lasting legacy.

In the 1980s, Jennifer triumphed in A&B grades with Macarthy. She bred the exceptional Another Flood, who won the Sale World Cup in 1994. Jennifer proudly represented Australia in Europe, winning the Nations Cup in Helsinki and later competing at the Atlanta Olympics.

Jennifer’s skill as a breeder is exemplified in the horse Another Flood, whom she bred and trained to greatness. Another Flood won the Sale World Cup in 1994 and went on to compete at the Atlanta Olympics. This remarkable horse competed in two Olympic Games under two different riders, showcasing his versatility and exceptional talent on the world stage.

Another Flood’s journey didn’t just end with his competitive years. He lived a long and fulfilling life, reaching the age of 31.

Despite a demanding career in the Victoria Police Force, Jennifer managed to compete at the highest levels, proving her exceptional dedication.  Jennifer’s contributions were recognised with prestigious awards, including Leader Newspaper Sports Star of the Year and Victoria Police Sportsperson of the Year in 1996.

It is with great pride that we honour Jennifer Parlevliet for her extraordinary achievements and contributions to the sport. Congratulations, Jennifer, on your well-deserved induction into the Equestrian Victoria Hall of Fame.”
