SARAH BERRY

MEET SARAH

Sarah Berry has been involved in horses for her lifetime. She has extended her experience through competition horses and is now working in the racing industry. Sarah is currently employed by Eurell Racing in Cranbourne and is still enjoying her passion with horses.

Sarah Berry is a valued member of the Equestrian Victoria Barastoc Horse of the Year volunteer committee and also the Ego Sunsense Show Horse Nationals team. Sarah takes on many roles at these competitions and is able to work unsupervised and with the utmost professionalism.

Being an equestrian herself Sarah can relate to the competitors and working under pressure. She is aware of how competitions can play out for competitors. Having worked with Show Horse Victoria for many years she is a valued volunteer who is placed in many roles and applies herself to them all. The Show Horse Committee are very grateful for the hard work that Sarah commits to. Her professionalism is backed with thinking on her feet. Sarah is able to foresee such things as timetabling issues for competitors and can offer solutions that achieve workable outcomes. When working under pressure which is what the competition environment is, Sarah remains calm and polite and is able to diffuse a potential problematic situation. Sarah refers to the rules and enforces their use in a calm and non confrontational manner.

You must have been a financial member at some point during the 2019/2020 membership year to be eligible to cast a vote. You are only able to submit ONE voting form per category. The following will be deemed void and will be removed:

  • duplicate votes in a category by the same member
  • unfinancial members (as per time period above)
  • invalid or incorrect membership numbers
